Create an integration and generate a key.
In the dashboard: OAuth → Integrations → API Keys → Save & Generate Key. Copy the key when it appears — we only ever store a hash of it, so that screen is the one chance to read it.

Install the client and start building.
Node or Python, your choice. Point it at your key and the hosted OAuth flow handles the org connection — no connected-app setup, no token plumbing of your own.
